Counselling & Psychotherapy are two entirely different treatments using conscious hypnosis, they are suggestion therapy and in-depth therapy.



Counselling involves the very human skills of listening, understanding and respect. It can help you understand yourself better and help with decision making.

Psychotherapy involves a deeper treatment level using research based psychotherapeutic techniques. It is not necessarily any more time consuming than counselling. Hypnosis is best defined as a state of relaxation and heightened awareness, induced by suggestion. The state of conscious hypnosis is pleasant and relaxing. A person in hypnosis is not asleep and can quite easily converse.

All suggestions given during hypnosis will be so worded that the effect can only be beneficial to the client.
